Motorcycle - 1956 AJS 16MC Trials Bike Reg No. 523XUJ. 350ccs overhead valve single cylinder 4 stroke engine in duplex frame with telescopic forks and rear suspension. Four speed gearbox.
Hugh Viney won the Scottish Six Days Trial in 1947 at his first attempt on a similar machine and then made it three in a row the following years. Gordon Jackson won the Scottish four times for AJS in the 1950s.
Locally owned bike, known to have had an engine rebuild and starts easily, running sweetly.
